Hoist the French Sail ! was the magical formula in the July logbook as, on the 8th of the month, our hardy three-masted ship momentarily deserted French waters on her way to Dublin where she was expected as guest of honour to celebrate both the 50th anniversary of the Dublin Alliance française and of course the Bastille Day on the 14th of July...

Belem calls at Lorient on the occasion of the "Festival Interceltique". This year's honours go to... Brittany!
Belem calls at Bayonne during the 15th of August week-end. She will be open to public visits.
Belem calls at Cowes, Isle of Wight, as a tribute to her British past, when she sailed under colors of the Royal Yacht Squadron. Events are planned with the RYS, and with the descendants of the Fantôme II crew who still live on the island. The ship will be open to public visits.
